'Junk Drawer' concept

People make financial decisions over time, under different economic circumstances, and with different financial professionals.  Oftentimes this leads to accumulating products and strategies that are no longer in alignment with each other, resulting in a 'financial junk drawer'.  Not that the products are bad necessarily but they are simply not properly coordinated, nor updated, and sometimes no longer relevant due to changing circumstances.  It may be ok to have a junk drawer in your kitchen but a financial junk drawer can lead to lost opportunities and risks that you are unaware of.
